Ah, the weekend. I had an absolute blast geting entirely too tipsy last night with the lovely missus and another good friend of ours at the Irish Times. It wasn't too crowded, wasn't too expensive, and we got to see some blood drawn when some drunken fool, after molesting his way down every woman at the rail, took on the bouncer. All told, a fine evening.
But don't think that the fun stops there - after dispatching yesterday's post, I discovered that Mary Prankster is playing out in Fairfax tonight. Look for me and my buds - I'll be the one dancing and singing along. W

Dineen and I aren't the only ones listening to Mary Prankster. W
More mirror shenanigans at Jezebel's Mirror: FOJM. This time, safe for the entire family. W

John sez:
For all you Visor owners who think we missed out on the Palm 8 MB memory bug, think again. There's a test app on Handspring's site. I'll be checking mine at work tomorrow; gonna be pretty pissed if it's defective.
Donwload the test app from: http://www.handspring.com/support/ts_visor_test_download.asp. By the way, any other Visor users want to split the cost of a Stylus Five-Pack? W
I hope everyone had a very happy Fourth of July, even those of you from outside the United States. If you didn't have a chance, please set aside a few minutes to pause and reflect on the debt we owe to those who sacrificed their safety, comfort, prosperity, and even their lives to throw off the yoke of tyranny so that we may now live free. As seen on Medley:
If you don't trust the government with your tax dollars, then how can you trust it with the electric chair?
I'll be happy to trade - I'll vote to abolish the death penalty if you vote to abolish taxes. How much is life worth to you? W
