Oh, no. Tom’s MacBook Pro is a lemon, and the repair tools that shipped with it aren’t Intel-Book compatible.
This has got to be a real bummer for Tom, since I know how much he was looking forward to Lysander’s arrival. Things like this are inevitable with such a major shift in the product line, and a very good reason to wait until the second iteration of a new release before making a purchase.
