Justice Bedford:

After all, how many cases can be summarized by the Los Angeles Daily Journal as, “Government’s approval of ski resort to use recycled sewage effluent to make artificial snow on San Francisco Peaks violates Religious Freedom Restoration Act”?

That’s not even the good part.

The thing about the water is it has been processed and is only one step below drinking water in quality. A good wintertime use for the processed water. Without making snow the ski resort will likely close in the next few years as the business operating the ski center isn’t financially viable if they are only open every second or third year.

I started out against the snow making process but after reading up the backround and talking with the General Manager I eventually changed my opinion.

The overall economic benefit for the tourism based community is worth the effort.
