Unlike any year prior, a large number of my friends seem to think 2008 sucked.

You know, TONS of people have said that to me too. And in many ways they’re right – I know my stock portfolio and retirement fund lost over half its value, which was teh suck, but… I also went to Greece this summer for the best vacation ever, got to meet and hang out all day with Neil Gaiman (one of my lifelong heroes) and got engaged on Christmas. So all in all, my 2008 was pretty amazing. :)
