Culture of Corruption
Who’s the latest victim in the Democrats’ war on the “Republican Culture of Corruption” in D.C.? Louisiana Democrat William Jefferson, who was caught on videotape taking a $100,000 bribe from undercover agents. Most of the money was later found in the freezer of his Washington home.
Astute readers will recall that this is the same Congressman who, in the wake of Katrina, commandeered a military helicopter to retrieve a laptop computer, a few suitcases, and a large box from his flooded home.
We’ve now got some idea why those things were so important, don’t we?
