Erik, you an idiot. I am an FSU fan but even I could tell that you totally screwed UF in this blog. They have some of the best uniforms in college football. They don't use that much orange, which by the way is the exact same color that Auburn, Clemson, Illinois, Syracuse, Oregon State, and pretty much everyone that uses orange except for retard Tennessee uses. They have good traditions like the Chomp and "We are the Boys of Old Florida"

Matt, it might be time for you to start reading in a language you understand. (You must have a UF education, in addition to being a fan.)

See that heading that reads "Conference Impact?" I never said the ACC was a better conference than the SEC. What I said was that Florida State has made the ACC better than it was, whereas Florida has had little or no impact on making the SEC what it is today. There is a difference, even if it's too subtle for reptilian brains to comprehend.

And saying you "could point out fact after fact" to refute my arguments... and then NOT doing it? Weak. If you're going to piss all over someone else's blog, better bring some real game next time.

I stumbled upon this while searching for an old Florida-FSU boxscore. I feel I have to say that you have no clue what you're talking about.

And your response above is nonsense as well.

I could point out fact after fact that refutes some of what you say but I don't have time for a book. All I'll say is that anyone comparing the ACC even somewhat favorably with the SEC, over the course of the last few decades or just 2006 - Wow! Might be time to start writing about a subject you can understand.

Mike:
Well, so much for the frog-stomping. We were home rooting for our Gators and when I saw your comments, I had to laugh. Was your Dad going for the Buckeyes as well? I will have to kid him about that the next time I go in for an appointment.

Erik: Apparently, I missed my invitation to the SEC. I'm pretty sure I don't qualify, anyway, since I'm not an institution of higher learning.

I don't understand Bulldogs rooting for Gators - I was sure as heck rooting for Ohio State against Miami in 2003. That one turned out a little better.

"Sack": Even the staunchest of Florida fans has to admit that the team that showed up Monday night is one that hasn't been seen all year long, and the same could be said of Ohio State. Based on the regular seasons, my prediction was hardly bold - it was shared by roughly 2/3 of the football-sentient population.

And despite your fondest hopes for my financial ruin, I didn't bet a dime on this game. Gambling on sports is for suckers and marks.

And to all the Florida Gator fans out there, let me say, congratulations on your second national championship. Took ya long enough.

The best thing about such bold predictions as "frog-stomping" is when they're so brutally wrong.

I hope you didn't have a lot of money on this game. Actually, given the arrogant tone of your blog entry I hope you did.

That was a funny looking frog-stomping, don'tcha think? I'm not a Gator fan myself (I'm a University of Georgia grad) but I was sure rooting for the Gators against Ohio State. All I can say about the final score is ... welcome to the SEC. -- Erik
