This is an excellent article explaining the dilemma faced by lawyers. It looks like the problem is being resolved,at least temporarily by AG Bill McCollum. It's a good thing, because a tsunami of foreclosures is expected in the coming months. The worst thing that could happen is that lawyers refuse to take on these cases.

This new law is way too broad to last for long the way it is...it violates many basic Constitutional rights. I do understand and agree 'why' we should protect suffering consumers from predatorial sales scams, I just don't understand and agree with the 'how' the law makers are doing it - with this new law. The law makers are doing whatever they want here and now at the expense of our Constitution just so they don't have to create leagal regulations that would cost a lot and raise taxes. Unfortunately, the mass population will be passive agressive and not do anything.
It will take the great attorneys of the good buisnesses and business owners that don't cheat, steal or lie who's Constitutional rights are being badly violated here to actually chip away at the broadness of this law.
Good luck in the next 5 years!
